We were contracted by the Australian Taxation Office as an Australian Government Creative and Digital Communications Panel Approved Supplier in 2021. We were tasked with creating two image libraries to support their marketing and internal communications.
The vision behind the first image library was to showcase the department’s culture, and help drive recruitment campaigns. To communicate this, we used a series of well-planned corporate images and environmental portraits.
The second image library was for the people. The series showcased environmental portraits across real-life working situations and lifestyle images of everyday Aussies. The mission behind this library was to create resonance with the Aussie audience, highlighting a diverse and authentic representation of the nation.
Lightbulb Studio was the creative genius behind both the production and photography elements. We sourced and managed over 20 talent – featuring farmers, teachers, florists and professionals. We also scouted 13 locations including cafes, salons, a public ACT school and professional service businesses. We also managed hair, makeup and styling as well as the full photography crew. Shot lists, shoot timings and on-the-day logistics were also in our wheelhouse.
This was a mammoth project with many moving parts and consistent communication with the client, the ATO. We proudly pulled it off and provided the ATO with over 350 unique and engaging final images that helped tell both their internal and external stories.
