Canberra Health Services Rebrand - Campaign Image Library | Case Study

We teamed up with Melbourne design agency Studio Binocular to create a colourful library of images for Canberra Health Services. Commissioned by the ACT Government, our brief was to create striking portraits of their staff and consumers.

The two-day shoot took place at our purpose-built photography studio in Fyshwick. There, we photographed over 20 different people, ensuring we represented every aspect of CHS and every demographic of the Canberra community. Because there were so many talents to photography, we were tasked with getting the perfect shot each time in only 20 minutes.

This speedy photo shoot required us to centre our ability to connect – we needed to quickly build rapport and ensure our talents felt comfortable in order to capture genuine emotions.

We were solely responsible for the production of the consumer element of the shoot, including sourcing diverse talent and organisation styling, hair and makeup. Our role also encompassed high-level retouching on all final images. We photographed each portrait against a white paper background, but this was replaced with coloured layers of the brand’s colours in the editing stages.

We delivered our final work to the client in the form of editable photoshop documents, allowing full flexibility and creative ownership for CHS. These photographs have been used across their website, their digital and print communications, as well as in large-format prints throughout their facilities.
