Snowy Hydro 2.0 - Industrial and Drone Photography | Case Study

Some of our more unique projects were with Snowy Hydro and Snowy 2.0. We traversed country NSW and the Victorian high country to shoot this pumped-hydro battery megaproject in 2022, leaving no stone unturned in order to tell their stories.

As some of our more-involved shoots, we were required to move out of our comfort zone and into the exceptional unknown to make this project work. And we did, with flying colours.

We engaged with 10 hours of safety inductions, and organised correct safety attire, including high-vis, steel-capped boots and respirators.

The projects involved five days of sunrise and sunset shoots, spanning working portraits, industrial and construction visuals, environmental portraits and drone photography. We were challenged and kept on our toes in the best way possible, making the most of difficult lighting situations, like holes underground. We needed to work quickly and flexibly to account for last-minute changes in weather and construction limitations.

And today, both Snowy Hydro and Snowy 2.0 are ongoing clients. Our images are the fabric of their story, making up the content across their website, marketing materials, annual reports and internal communications.
